SUPER-SWEET SECOND ANNIVERSARY LUCERO-THEMED DEAR BEN NICHOLS GIVEAWAY!
Hey, y’all! TODAY is Dear Ben Nichols’ SECOND ANNIVERSARY! To celebrate, and to thank you so much for following and sharing the Ben Nichols and Lucero love with us, I decided another giveaway would be in order! In order of the photos pictured above, the prizes are:
- An AUTOGRAPHED COPY of Rick Steff’s solo EP, Rick’s Booogie, as well as a digital download. Need I say more?!
- A one of a kind Lucero-inspired butterfly woodcut (much like the one pictured above) created by the lovely Bryn Perrott, who designed the EP cover (based on one of her woodcuts, which Ben bought and brings on tour with the band) for Lucero’s Texas and Tennessee.
- A lovely print of Ben Nichols and Lucero taken by Nicole Kibert from the always awesome music web site, Suburban Apologist (and sometimes of The Ruckus). The photo was taken on March 9th, 2009 at at New World Brewery in Tampa, FL.
- Lucero-inspired, hand-made hair clips created by Angela Kubilus of The Kitschy Cupcake. These were being sold on Lucero merch tables for a while!
- A hand-made “Noteworthy Necklace” made by our talented and faithful DBN Contributor Bex Laffar of Faster Than Trouble. (Yes, her site is named after the Lucero song of the same name!) The necklace features a piece of an old music manuscript from a charity shop book, carefully wound in silver-plated wire. It measures two inches long with a chain included.
- A painted vinyl record by Valerie Gritsch of Valderie Originals. The LP features a modified white treble-heart clef painted on a black repurposed vinyl record.
- TWO DBN buttons, designed and created by Self Destruct Buttons.
- A high-resolution/high-quality digital copy of Brian Steffen’s painting of Ben Nichols, emailed to the winner, so that person can print and frame it.

- Contest will run from today Thursday, April 25th to Sunday, May 5th (my birthday, hehe) until 6 p.m. EST (12 a.m. UK time).
- You MUST BE following us at Dear Ben Nichols on Tumblr. This is a giveaway to thank our followers, and, yes, we will be checking. (If you don’t have one, make one, or have a friend make one for you. It’s fast and easy to do.)

- Anyone can enter. We will ship internationally at no cost to you.
